How do I know my idea is not “too small” or “too weird” for you?
We are not afraid of weird, we are afraid of boring. You can come with “mafia game in the barbershop”, “barber stand-up night”, “watch-club party”, “night English marathon” or a test pop-up for a furniture brand. If the idea fits our space, doesn’t break guest service and doesn’t clash with our brand ethics – we’re ready to calculate a format, even if it’s for three evenings a month, not a nationwide campaign.

It’s real: wedding pre- and after-parties, closed bachelor nights with a bar, “mafia” or other board-game evenings in a night slot, a podcast or talk-show in a live barbershop, stand-up nights, pop-up showrooms for watches/sneakers/clothes, furniture showcases, themed “pajama but barber” parties, selling flowers “after the haircut”, integration into our app or CRM, affiliate programs for online services. The format is open – what matters is the script, safety and respect for guests.

How do you price these individual concepts – rental, revenue share or fixed fee?
We don’t sell “air by price list”. We use three base models: fixed rent for time and space (if you handle everything yourself), a hybrid (part fixed, part % from sales/tickets/upsells), or full revenue sharing when we integrate your product into our services and split the result. From the start we’ll be honest about what works best for your idea – and if the numbers don’t add up, we won’t push you into a contract just to tick a box.

What will you definitely not do, even if the idea looks “profitable”?
We won’t do anything that hits safety or reputation: toxic alcohol-heavy formats, aggressive or discriminatory events, shady cash schemes, illegal gambling, “grey” medical stuff or anything where a client we send might end up in hospital or a police station. Lumberjack is a place of trust. If your idea breaks that trust, we’ll say no even if the margin looks fantastic.

Who organizes all this – do I need my own producer or do you have a team for such experiments?
You can come with your own producer and crew – we provide space, ground rules and technical conditions. Or you can show up with an idea “on a napkin” – then we involve our people: location coordinator, bar, barbers and, if needed, trusted contractors for light, sound, photo/video. The scale depends on the goal: from a simple mafia night to a full talk show with filming and bar for several hours.

Can we start with a small test format before talking big budgets?
Yes, we prefer tests over “sign for a year at once”. You can start with one night, a 2–3 event series, a small pilot in a specific location or an online integration into our services without a full rebrand. We watch the numbers, guest feedback and your sales – and only then scale and lock in a longer contract. If the pilot doesn’t fly, we openly analyse why instead of forcing you to “finish the contract”.

What about the legal side – contracts, noise, alcohol, neighbours, police – do you cover that too?
Yes. We live in a real city, not on Pinterest. From the start we sign a contract (rental/services/collaboration), define event format, timing, noise and alcohol limits, and responsibility for both sides. We explain what is and isn’t possible in our locations and help you avoid conflicts with the building or the police. If a format needs extra permits, we either help arrange them or honestly say it’s better to drop that idea.
