  • Who actually needs to rent a “Lumberjack” barbershop as a location?

    Our locations are used when you need more than “some barbershop in frame” and want a recognizable, living space with character: FMCG and male brand ads, music videos, shows, fashion campaigns, YouTube and interviews, content for streaming platforms, educational courses, reality formats, internal corporate videos. If your references include brick, neon, wood, a bar, men on screen and the feeling of real service, it is easier to shoot in a ready “Lumberjack” than build a fake barbershop from scratch.

  • What rental formats do you offer: hourly, daily, night, separate zones?

    We work in three main formats: hourly rental (at least one shooting block), full day (morning to evening) and night sets with full closure of the location. You can also rent separate zones: workstations, bar, waiting area or facade as independent sets, which are essentially four different looks in one space. For complex projects we build combined packages across several days and multiple locations at once.

  • Can you fully close the barbershop for a shoot or a private event?

    Yes. We can completely stop client bookings in the chosen time slot, close the location exclusively for you and keep exactly as many “living” people in frame as you need: barbers acting, administrator, client extras. The format is fixed at the brief, from full isolation to a controlled flow of real guests if you need authentic background traffic instead of a staged queue.

  • What do you provide technically and logistically on location, besides the nice look?

    By default you get power capacity for lights and sound, stable Wi Fi, sockets across the hall, bar area, restroom, a place for make up and wardrobe, plus basic control of noise and light from our side. If needed, we agree on a timing “dashboard”: when loud scenes are allowed, when you need quiet dialogue, so we do not damage your set or our neighbours. Extra technical requirements are discussed during the tech scout and fixed in the contract.

  • How does booking work: how early and what do you need to start?

    Basically we need a short brief: project format, dates, headcount, visual references and requirements to the location (which zones in frame, do you need barbers/clients). Then we do a tech scout or video tour, prepare a preliminary quote and hold a calendar slot. Typically we go from “brief → scout → confirmation → booked time slot” within 48 hours. Large shoots and events are better to lock 1–2 weeks in advance.

  • What drives the rental price of the barbershop?

    The price is driven by three things: time (hours or days, day or night format), scale (number of locations, zones and people, complexity of blocking regular flow) and impact on the business (full closure, work with real clients, staff participation on camera). Non standard requests are calculated separately: heavy decorations, facade blocking, extra shifts for manager or barbers, logistics for props and catering.

  • What are your limitations on content, safety and on site rules?

    We do not work with political campaigns, toxic messaging or explicit content. Anything that risks people’s safety or the reputation of the “Lumberjack” brand is filtered out at brief stage. Technically, fire, water, smoke, pyrotechnics and heavy props are only allowed with an agreed tech rider and a clear safety plan. Property inside and on the facade must not be damaged, painted or drilled without our written approval.

  • Can your barbers and clients be used as actors and extras?

    Yes. Barbers can work on camera as themselves or as characters, and a part of our real clients are ready to appear as extras, with prior notice and written consent. We run a separate “shoot briefing” for the team, align looks, schedule and compensation or bonuses. Usage rights are clearly fixed in the contract so that both your legal team and our brand manager are comfortable.
