Tampere Street

Tampere Street is located on the left bank of the Dnipro River in the Dniprovskiy district of Kyiv, it adjoins the well-known residential area Sozmisto. The street was formed in the 1950s and was originally called Nova, then in 1957 it was renamed to Chornovodska, and then, for the third and final time, it was renamed in 1961 in honor of the Finnish city of Tampere.
