A second award in a row: Top Ukrainian Award 2024 for Lumberjack Barberhouse
A year after our first win, the Vybir Krainy (“Country’s Choice”) analytical centre recognised Lumberjack Barberhouse again. The nomination was the same — “Barbershop Chain of the Year in Kyiv”, and the award date was 20 August 2024.
The “Ranking of the best goods and services · Ukraine” is compiled every year, so each new award is a separate assessment of a separate year. A second one in a row shows that the chain’s quality did not slip after the first success.
The “Consumer Preferences” methodology once again analysed the same question — why people choose this particular company among similar ones. And for the second year running, in the category of Kyiv barbershops, the answer came out in favour of Lumberjack. For a rating that starts from scratch every year, that is a strong signal.
What was assessed. The award belongs to the chain, not to a single shop. A barbershop chain is only as strong as its weakest shift, so we made sure the haircut, the service and the atmosphere were the same in every location — on any day and with any barber.
That is not easy in a city where Lumberjack is on the right bank — in Podil, Pechersk, Obolon, Vynohradar and Teremky — and on the left bank, in Pozniaky, Osokorky, Rusanivka and Troieshchyna. Every district has its own pace, but the standard is one.
In 2024 a new shop opened as well — in Solomianka. It became a test for our rules: do they work in a shop where everything starts from zero?
What it means for a guest. The second medal means predictability: you can book another shop or a new barber and get the same level.
In every shop you get the same consultation before the cut, sterile tools, a personal towel and a price list where the price depends on the barber’s level, not on the address.
So you can choose a shop purely for convenience — near home, near the office or on the way. The level will not change, and your wishes for the cut are easy to repeat at the consultation.
